FAQ

Who can apply for a scholarship or fee assistance?

Students from families facing financial hardship who are studying at school, intermediate, diploma, degree, engineering, medical or other recognised courses. Priority is given to our current service area. Students under 18 need a parent or guardian to complete or agree to the application.

Does applying guarantee that I will receive support?

No. Every application is reviewed fairly against our guidelines, but support depends on eligibility, need and the funds available at the time.

Do I need to give my Aadhaar number or bank details?

No, not in the application. Wherever practical we pay fees directly to the school or college. If any further verification is genuinely needed, a reviewer will explain what and why.

How do I check the status of my application?

Use the Check Status page with your reference number and the access code shown when you applied. If you have lost the access code, contact us from the phone number used in your application.

Do I have to agree to photographs to take part in events or receive support?

No. Photo consent is always optional and completely separate. Saying no never affects participation or eligibility for support.

What happens if an event is full?

Where a waiting list is enabled you can still register and you will be placed on it. If a confirmed participant cancels, the next person on the waiting list is confirmed and informed.

Can I donate books, dictionaries or school supplies?

Yes, and thank you. Please use the Support Our Work page to tell us what you would like to give so we can match it with a school or students who need it.

Are donations tax deductible?

We do not currently hold any tax-exemption registration, so please do not assume a contribution is tax deductible. Any verified registration details will be published on our Transparency page.

Who can volunteer?

Adults aged 18 or over who agree to our safeguarding commitments. Every application is reviewed and approved before any activity is assigned, and all volunteering with children is supervised.

Does the foundation provide medical treatment or medicines?

No. We are not a medical provider and do not diagnose or prescribe. We support health awareness and coordinate any medicine-related support through qualified, authorised healthcare professionals.
