Education and Learning Resources

Dictionaries, books, notebooks and school supplies — and encouragement to read, speak English with confidence and keep learning.

Why it matters

A dictionary, a storybook or a full set of notebooks can change how a child feels about school. Many families in our villages work hard to meet basic needs, and learning materials are often the first thing to go without.

What we do

  • Distribute dictionaries, books, notebooks, school supplies and other learning materials to students who need them.
  • Encourage reading habits through book donation drives and support for school libraries.
  • Encourage spoken English through reading activities and practice sessions.
  • Recognise academic progress, effort and achievement — not only top marks, but also steady improvement.

How distributions work

We work with schools and teachers to understand what is needed, and we distribute materials in person at the school or a community venue. Photographs of distributions are published only with consent.

How you can help

Donate new or good-condition dictionaries and books, sponsor school supplies for a class, or help organise a book drive in your area.
